Former Akron guard pleads guilty in drug case

AKRON, Ohio (AP) Former University of Akron point guard Alex Abreu has pleaded guilty in a drug case.

The 21-year-old was arrested March 7 after police say he accepted a package containing five pounds of marijuana.

On Monday, Abreu pleaded guilty to one count of felony drug trafficking.
