ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) Travis Fulton grabbed on offensive rebound and scored with 1.3 seconds remaining, lifting Pacific to a 55-53 victory over Cal Poly on Friday night in the semifinals of the Big West tournament.
The second-seeded Tigers (21-12) will face fourth-seeded UC Irvine in the championship game on Saturday.
Pacific tied the game at 53 on a pair of free throws from Lorenzo McCloud with 50 seconds left. After a missed 3-pointer by Cal Poly's Dylan Royer, the Tigers worked the clock for a last shot. McCloud's jumper from the right corner with just over 2 seconds left was off the mark but Fulton was there to grab the rebound and hit the game-winner from about five feet away.
