NJIT crushes DIII Sarah Lawrence, 90-55

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) Emmanuel Tselentakis had 16 points, nine rebounds, and five steals, leading seven players in double figures as NJIT beat Division III Sarah Lawrence 90-55 on Saturday.

Osa Izevbuwa added 15 points off the bench and Daquan Holiday had 12 for the Highlanders (17-11), which set a school record for wins since moving to Division I in the 2006-07 season.

NJIT trailed briefly in the early going but controlled the final 30 minutes of the game, taking a 40-23 lead at the break, pushing it as has high as 38 late. Overall the Highlanders shot 58.5 percent from the field, won the rebounding battle by 10, and dished out 19 total assists.
