ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) Anthony Jackson led four Stony Brook players in double figures with 16 points as the top-seeded Seawolves rolled over Binghamton 72-49 in the America East tournament quarterfinals Saturday.
Scott King added 13 points, Jameel Warney 12 and Dave Coley 11 for Stony Brook (24-6), which shot 52.9 percent (27 of 51) as it seeks to play in a third straight America East title game.
The Seawolves entered fifth nationally in defensive field goal percentage (37.4 percent) and held eighth-seeded Binghamton (3-27) to 40 percent (18 of 45) from the floor, including 6 of 18 from 3-point range. The Bearcats entered averaging 56.1 points per game, worst in America East, and have now lost 11 straight.
