NC State's Crisp granted medical redshirt for 2013
RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) North Carolina State offensive tackle Rob Crisp will return after missing nearly all season with a concussion.
Crisp was hurt in the second game. Coach Dave Doeren said Monday that the senior, who hadn't taken a redshirt year, was granted a medical redshirt for last season.
Doeren said the team is trying to get a sixth year for safety Jarvis Byrd, who tore a knee ligament for the third time in his career last year at Wake Forest.
