Diaco to conduct search for new offensive coordinator

STORRS, Conn. (AP) UConn football coach Bob Diaco says he will conduct a national search for a new offensive coordinator.

Diaco demoted coordinator Frank Verducci earlier this month and promoted running backs coach David Corley into that role, calling him a future icon in the profession.

But the Huskies (3-9, 1-7 American Athletic Conference) finished the season Saturday with their sixth straight loss, 38-13 to Tulane.
