LONDON (AP) Crystal Palace ended its seven-game losing run with a 0-0 draw against Everton but was left ruing a missed opportunity to get a win.

The last-place club had three golden chances to take the lead but Kagisho Dikgacoi, Marouane Chamakh and Jerome Thomas all failed to score.

The club is still without a manager but hopes to appoint a new boss next week.

Everton, by contrast, began the day with a chance to climb into the top four, but they have now gone two games without scoring. Phil Jagielka nearly snatched the win late on but rattled the crossbar.

Romelu Lukaku started up front for the visitors despite injuring his knee in a collision with the head of Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris last weekend. But Lukaku never looked like adding to his five goals this season.
