Analysis: The Steelers did not release terms of the contract, but multiple media outlets reported that it is technically a four-year extension worth $68 million. The average salary of $17 million over the four years surpasses the $15 million per year made by Cincinnati's A.J. Green, who had been the highest-paid wide receiver. The contract takes Brown through the 2021 season.
