|Oct. 8, 2017 4:45 PM PT5:45 PM MT6:45 PM CT7:45 PM ET23:45 GMT7:45 4:45 PM MST6:45 PM EST6:45 PM CT3:45 UAE (+1)19:45 ETNaN: - John Brown had two receptions for 26 yards and one touchdown Sunday in the Arizona Cardinals' 34-7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Analysis: Brown drew seven targets for a second straight week but didn't do much with them, save for a first-half touchdown catch that accounted for the Cardinals' only points. The former 1,000-yard receiver is off to a very slow start, recording just nine receptions for 105 yards in three games and missing two others with a quad injury.
|Oct. 1, 2017 5:57 PM PT6:57 PM MT7:57 PM CT8:57 PM ET0:57 GMT8:57 5:57 PM MST7:57 PM EST7:57 PM CT4:57 UAE (+1)20:57 ETNaN: - John Brown had three receptions for 47 yards Sunday in the Arizona Cardinals' 18-15 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
Analysis: Brown looked good in his return after missing the previous two games with a quad strain. He was targeted seven times, the same total as Larry Fitzgerald, so the Cardinals didn't seem overly concerned about his injury. Brown had 12 TDs in his first two seasons so he should be able to pick up some scores in the near future playing in Arizona's pass-happy offense.
|Sep. 29, 2017 12:07 PM PT1:07 PM MT2:07 PM CT3:07 PM ET19:07 GMT3:07 12:07 PM MST2:07 PM EST2:07 PM CT23:07 UAE15:07 ETNaN: - Brown (quad) will return Sunday to face the 49ers.
Analysis: The speedy wideout hadn't played since the season opener, though it's unclear what kind of a role he'll have going forward following the emergence of J.J. Nelson and Jaron Brown along with the presence of Larry Fitzgerald.
|Sep. 20, 2017 9:54 AM PT10:54 AM MT11:54 AM CT12:54 PM ET16:54 GMT0:54 9:54 AM MST11:54 AM EST11:54 AM CT20:54 UAE12:54 ETNaN: - Brown is inactive for Monday night's game versus Dallas.
Analysis: A quad injury and his sickle-cell trait which makes recovery difficult will keep him sidelined for a second straight week Monday against Dallas - and possibly longer.
|Sep. 13, 2017 4:19 PM PT5:19 PM MT6:19 PM CT7:19 PM ET23:19 GMT7:19 4:19 PM MST6:19 PM EST6:19 PM CT3:19 UAE (+1)19:19 ETNaN: - Brown will not play Sunday against the Colts due to a quadriceps injury.
Analysis: Being ruled out two days in advance of the game is seemingly a bad sign, and considering his value is based greatly on his ability to get down field in a hurry, Brown could miss more than one game. He was targeted nine times in the opener.
|Sep. 10, 2017 4:39 PM PT5:39 PM MT6:39 PM CT7:39 PM ET23:39 GMT7:39 4:39 PM MST6:39 PM EST6:39 PM CT3:39 UAE (+1)19:39 ETNaN: - John Brown had four receptions for 32 yards Sunday in the Arizona Cardinals' 35-23 loss to the Detroit Lions. He added one rush for 10 yards.
Analysis: Those who started Brown were surely hoping for a more productive day, but the good news is he did draw nine targets on the afternoon. The onetime 1,000-yard wideout should have a chance to improve upon Sunday's numbers when he faces a shaky Indianapolis defense next week.
|Aug. 27, 2017 7:28 AM PT8:28 AM MT9:28 AM CT10:28 AM ET14:28 GMT22:28 7:28 AM MST9:28 AM EST9:28 AM CT18:28 UAE10:28 ETNaN: - Brown made a strong statement his lingering quadriceps injury is no concern as he caught two touchdown passes to lead the Arizona Cardinals to a 24-14 preseason win over the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday night.
Analysis: Brown showed off his speed when he caught a 28-yard scoring pass from Carson Palmer and a 21-yarder from Drew Stanton, each in the second quarter.
|Aug. 13, 2017 11:28 AM PT12:28 PM MT1:28 PM CT2:28 PM ET18:28 GMT2:28 11:28 AM MST1:28 PM EST1:28 PM CT22:28 UAE14:28 ETNaN: - Brown, slowed by a quadriceps issue, did not play in the Cardinals' preseason win over the Raiders on Saturday.
Analysis: Brown did return to practice earlier in the week after an extended absence due to the quad, but the Cardinals are being cautious with the speedster given his injury history.
