Analysis: Kelley began the season as Washington's top back, and his return could come at a good time with Chris Thompson and Samaje Perine struggling mightily last week against the 49ers, combining for 56 yards on 25 carries.

Analysis: The Redskins are coming off a bye, and Kelley had returned in Week 4 after sitting out the previous game with a rib injury, but he's not quite ready to return in Week 6. He started the season as Washington's No. 1 back, but his injuries and Samaje Perine's emergence aren't helping his status.

Analysis: Kelley left the Redskins' 27-20 victory over the Rams with the rib injury after running for 78 yards on 12 carries.

Analysis: Kelley was on his way to a huge day before departing late in the first half. Redskins coach Jay Gruden said during his postgame conference that the running back may have fractured a rib. While more should be known about the injury in the coming days, he's looking highly unlikely to be ready for next week's matchup with the Raiders.
|Sep. 10, 2017 2:20 PM PT3:20 PM MT4:20 PM CT5:20 PM ET21:20 GMT5:20 2:20 PM MST4:20 PM EST4:20 PM CT1:20 UAE (+1)17:20 ETNaN: - Rob Kelley ran for 30 yards on 10 carries Sunday in the Washington Redskins' 30-17 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Analysis: Kelley was the lead back despite rumors that rookie Samaje Perine could cut into his carries, but Perine didn't touch the ball once. Kelley, though, didn't exactly impress in the season opener, so Perine could get more opportunities in the near future. Plus, Chris Thompson was used on most passing downs over Kelley.
