Analysis: McGahee couldn't find any room to run and is now averaging an awful 2.6 yards per carry. He remains a poor fantasy play aside from the deepest of leagues.
|Oct. 27 8:02 AM PT9:02 AM MT10:02 AM CT11:02 AM ET15:02 GMT11:02 PM 北京时间8:02 AM MST10:02 AM EST9:02 AM CT19:02 UAE11:02 ET13:02 - McGahee, who skipped Thursday's practice to rest his ailing knee, was in the starting lineup Sunday against Kansas City.

|Oct. 17 10:56 AM PT11:56 AM MT12:56 PM CT1:56 PM ET17:56 GMT1:56 AM 北京时间10:56 AM MST12:56 PM EST12:56 PM CT21:56 UAE13:56 ET16:56 - Browns starting running back Willis McGahee is not practicing because of an unspecified injury. McGahee, who was not on Wednesday's injury report, rode a stationary bike and worked with a trainer on the side of the field Thursday as the Browns continued preparing for Sunday's game in Green Bay. His injury is not yet known.
Analysis: Cleveland signed McGahee on Sept. 20, a day after the Browns traded running back Trent Richardson to Indianapolis. McGahee has rushed for 164 yards and one touchdown since joining the Browns. He gained 37 yards last week in a loss to Detroit, giving him 8,621 career yards, fourth most among active players. If McGahee can't play, the Browns will likely start fullback Chris Ogbonnaya at tailback with Bobby Rainey and Fozzy Whitaker as his backups.
|Sep. 20 11:01 AM PT12:01 PM MT1:01 PM CT2:01 PM ET18:01 GMT2:01 AM 北京时间11:01 AM MST1:01 PM EST1:01 PM CT22:01 UAE14:01 ET17:01 - McGahee will play Sunday when the Browns meet the Vikings.
Analysis: Coach Rob Chudzinski confirmed that McGahee, signed this week, will be on the field, though his role is still undefined.
|Sep. 19 1:41 PM PT2:41 PM MT3:41 PM CT4:41 PM ET20:41 GMT4:41 AM 北京时间1:41 PM MST3:41 PM EST3:41 PM CT0:41 UAE (+1)16:41 ET19:41 - The Browns have signed free agent running back Willis McGahee, giving them a capable veteran after trading Trent Richardson.
Analysis: The 31-year-old McGahee, who spent last season with Denver, passed his physical Thursday as the Browns were practicing. He brings much-needed experience after the Browns dealt Richardson to Indianapolis on Wednesday. It's not yet known if McGahee will play Sunday when the Browns visit Minnesota.
|June 13 7:31 AM PT8:31 AM MT9:31 AM CT10:31 AM ET14:31 GMT10:31 PM 北京时间7:31 AM MST9:31 AM EST9:31 AM CT18:31 UAE10:31 ET13:31 - The Denver Broncos have released McGahee, their leading rusher last year. The 31-year-old running back is the NFL's active leader with 33 100-yard games. McGahee is coming off a right knee injury that sidelined him for the final two months last season. The 11-year veteran was set to make $2.5 million in 2013.
Analysis: McGahee skipped all of the team's 10 voluntary workouts but returned to Dove Valley for their three-day mandatory minicamp that ends Thursday.
|June 11 2:37 PM PT3:37 PM MT4:37 PM CT5:37 PM ET21:37 GMT5:37 AM 北京时间2:37 PM MST4:37 PM EST4:37 PM CT1:37 UAE (+1)17:37 ET20:37 - The 11th-year running back skipped each of the Broncos' 10 "voluntary" practices over the last month but showed up for the start of the team's three-day mandatory minicamp Tuesday.
Analysis: With second-year pro Ronnie Hillman and rookie Montee Ball getting most of the work out of the backfield Tuesday morning, McGahee got only a few snaps in his first practice since suffering a right knee injury last November. McGahee said he skipped the OTAs for family reasons and insisted that missing those workouts didn't put him in a bad spot by giving the youngsters a head start.
|June 3 3:52 PM PT4:52 PM MT5:52 PM CT6:52 PM ET22:52 GMT6:52 AM 北京时间3:52 PM MST5:52 PM EST5:52 PM CT2:52 UAE (+1)18:52 ET21:52 - McGahee apparently is counting on history repeating itself. The grizzled running back skipped some of last year's offseason workouts, then showed up at the mandatory minicamp and handily won the Denver Broncos' starting job during training camp.
Analysis: His absence this time around is much more of a gamble. McGahee is pushing 32, he's coming off a serious knee injury, he's set to make $2.5 million this season and the void he left at practice has been filled nicely by second-year speedster Ronnie Hillman and rookie Montee Ball, who scored an NCAA-record 83 touchdowns at Wisconsin.
