Gloria Allred, who is representing the woman, said Monday that Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge William Elfving had tossed all five causes of action in the lawsuit by McDonald.
Analysis: The woman says McDonald carried her upstairs to his bedroom in December 2014 and sexually assaulted her. Prosecutors are reviewing the case. McDonald says security camera footage will show a consensual sexual encounter occurred in his hot tub. McDonald had been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence in a separate incident in August. Prosecutors declined to file charges.

The Santa Clara Police Department says the former San Francisco defensive end violated a restraining order by being at a residence in Santa Clara.
Analysis: The restraining order was issued after an earlier domestic violence incident in Santa Clara on Memorial Day. In that incident, he allegedly broke down a bedroom door to get to his ex-fiancee and their infant. He was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and child endangerment, but was free on bail. The Chicago Bears released the lineman Monday following that arrest.

Last year, McDonald was accused in a separate domestic violence incident during August birthday party at his Northern California home. A different woman has also accused McDonald of rape. Analysis: Bringing in McDonald, who played under new Bears defensive coordinator Vic Fangio in San Francisco, could be controversial for Chicago given his issues with the law. The 49ers cut McDonald in December after a woman accused him of sexually assaulting her following a night of drinking in which she injured her head in a fall by his swimming pool.
