Talib is slightly over two months removed from being shot in a mysterious set of circumstances in Dallas. The bullet entered the rear of his right thigh and exited his right calf, according to police reports.
Analysis: Talib, who had been on the non-football injury list until Monday, has been selected to the Pro Bowl in each of the last three seasons. In 2015, Talib recorded 45 tackles and three interceptions, with two being returned for touchdowns.

Such a trajectory suggests he could have shot himself. The Broncos believe he'll make a full recovery, but Talib, who's had firearm incidents in his past, could be facing legal consequences and possible punishment from the NFL, which is looking into the matter.
