He threw three interceptions, fumbled twice and was sacked five times. Stafford added four rushing yards on two carries.
Analysis: Stafford made his share of mistakes but managed to salvage his fantasy day with three touchdowns. Still, he threw his first three picks since a Week 1 win over Arizona.

Analysis: He's been limited a bit in practice, but the injury is not expected to hold him back this weekend and he's a top QB play against a weak Saints secondary.

He did not throw an interception, fumbled once and was sacked six times.
Analysis: Twelve of the Stafford's 18 sacks on the season have come in the last two games.
Oct. 1, 2017 12:49 PM PT1:49 PM MT2:49 PM CT3:49 PM ET19:49 GMT3:49 12:49 PM MST2:49 PM EST2:49 PM CT23:49 UAE15:49 ETNaN: - Matthew Stafford was 19 of 31 for 209 yards and didn't throw a touchdown pass Sunday in the Detroit Lions' 14-7 win over the Minnesota Vikings. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was sacked six times.
Analysis: The six sacks matched his total from the first three games.
Sep. 24, 2017 3:44 PM PT4:44 PM MT5:44 PM CT6:44 PM ET22:44 GMT6:44 3:44 PM MST5:44 PM EST5:44 PM CT2:44 UAE (+1)18:44 ETNaN: - Matthew Stafford was 25 of 45 for 264 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Detroit Lions' 30-26 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was sacked two times. Stafford added 19 rushing yards on two carries.
Analysis: Stafford had his worst game of the season against Atlanta, but was hurt by some drops and nearly had his second TD of the game on the final play before it was nullified. Although his completion percentage was poor, Stafford still looked sharp and guided the Lions to some long drives. He should be better next week against Minnesota.
Sep. 18, 2017 8:09 PM PT9:09 PM MT10:09 PM CT11:09 PM ET3:09 GMT11:09 8:09 PM MST10:09 PM EST10:09 PM CT7:09 UAE (+1)23:09 ETNaN: - Matthew Stafford was 15 of 21 for 122 yards and threw two touchdown passes Monday in the Detroit Lions' 24-10 win over the New York Giants. He did not throw an interception, fumbled once and was sacked three times. Stafford added 23 rushing yards on three carries.
Analysis: The 122 yards is the second-lowest mark of Stafford's career. He threw for 83 yards on Sept. 12, 2010, at Chicago. The low output wasn't a reflection on Stafford, who only threw four passes after halftime with his team in control on the scoreboard. Stafford has six TDs and one interception through two games with a big test next week against Atlanta.
Sep. 10, 2017 5:01 PM PT6:01 PM MT7:01 PM CT8:01 PM ET0:01 GMT8:01 5:01 PM MST7:01 PM EST7:01 PM CT4:01 UAE (+1)20:01 ETNaN: - Stafford completed 29 of 41 passes for 292 yards and four touchdowns with one interception in Sunday's 35-23 win over Arizona.
Analysis: The league's new highest-paid player got his season off to a brutal start by throwing a pick six on his initial attempt, but redeemed himself by tossing three TDs in the second half to help Detroit overcome a 17-9 deficit. Stafford should be a solid fantasy starter most weeks, though he may be more of a borderline QB1 with a potentially tough road matchup with the Giants next up.
Aug. 28, 2017 6:57 PM PT7:57 PM MT8:57 PM CT9:57 PM ET1:57 GMT9:57 6:57 PM MST8:57 PM EST8:57 PM CT5:57 UAE (+1)21:57 ETNaN: - Stafford will become the highest-paid player in NFL history after agreeing to a five-year deal with the Lions, ESPN reported Monday. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the deal is worth $135 million, which averages out to $27 million per year. That would surpass the five-year deal that pays $25 million annually to Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr, who signed his contract last month.
Analysis: Stafford was the No. 1 overall pick in 2009, following the Lions' 0-16 season. He has started 109 games, compiling a 51-58 record. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 2014 and has led Detroit to two playoff berths. In 2016, Stafford completed 65.3 percent of his passes for 4,327 yards, 24 touchdowns and 10 interceptions with a 70.5 passer rating while starting all 16 games for the Lions, who finished 9-7.
