He caught a pass for a 4-yard gain and was tackled by Jaguars linebacker Telvin Smith and stayed down for a few minutes until the training staff helped him up. Woodhead wasn't putting weight on his leg as he came off the field.
Analysis: Woodhead rushed for 89 yards in last week's season opener at Kansas City and also ripped off a 23-yard run on San Diego's first drive, setting up Melvin Gordon's 3-yard touchdown run. With the Chargers already down Keenan Allen for the season, losing Woodhead and his pass-catching ability would be very tough to overcome.

He ran for 89 yards on 16 carries and also caught five passes for 31 yards with a touchdown.
Analysis: With Keenan Allen likely out for the season, Woodhead takes on greater importance in San Diego's offense with his ability to catch out of the backfield. Woodhead's 89 yards on the ground in the season opener were the second-highest total of his career, four yards shy of his personal best set in 2010 with the Patriots.

He eventually got up and walked off the field on his own power.
Analysis: Woodhead led the team with 80 catches, 755 receiving yards and six touchdown receptions last season while also rushing 98 times for 336 yards and three scores.
