Analysis: To make room for Bolen, the Jaguars waived cornerback/kick returner Brian Witherspoon. An undrafted rookie in 2008, Witherspoon averaged 23.9 yards on 76 kick returns and 11.3 yards on 24 punt returns. He returned two kickoffs for 38 yards against Miami on Sunday. Bolen, who signed as an undrafted rookie free agent in April, spent the first 14 weeks on Jacksonville's practice squad. |
