Analysis: The club also selected the contracts of right-hander Mark Lowe, infielder Brendan Harris and outfielder J.B. Shuck. Right-hander David Carpenter, catcher John Hester and outfielder Kole Calhoun were reassigned to Triple-A Salt Lake, along with infielder Luis Jimenez. This will be Jimenez's eighth season in the Halos' minor league system, and he has yet to play for the big club in the regular season. |
