He scored 21 points, his fewest in 10 days, and had six rebounds.
Analysis: New Orleans coach Alvin Gentry said it was clear Davis was limited in the second half, saying that he "missed some shots that he's been making throughout the season."

Analysis: Par for the course for the Pelicans star, who's averaging a humongous 37.3 points over a run of three straight double-doubles. If there's a downside, Davis recorded only one block in this one, though he's still averaging nearly three rejections per game over his last 10 outings.
Nov. 26 7:40 AM PT8:40 AM MT9:40 AM CT10:40 AM ET15:40 GMT23:40 8:40 AM MST10:40 AM EST19:40 UAE16:4010:40 ET9:40 AM CTNaN: - Davis had 31 points and 13 rebounds for the Pelicans in Friday's loss to the Blazers.
Analysis: Davis was coming off a 45-point performance against the Timberwolves, and has reached 30 in four of five games. The Pelicans face the Mavericks for the first time this season on Sunday, and Davis is averaging just 14 points on 32.1 percent shooting and 6 rebounds in two games against Southwest Division rivals this season.
Nov. 23 8:34 PM PT9:34 PM MT10:34 PM CT11:34 PM ET4:34 GMT12:34 9:34 PM MST11:34 PM EST8:34 UAE05:3423:34 ET10:34 PM CTNaN: - Davis clearly wasn't affected by the bruised knee he sustained the previous night, as the superstar forward amassed 45 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Pelicans to Wednesday's 117-96 win over Minnesota.
Analysis: The injury limited Davis to just 19 minutes Tuesday in Atlanta, but this performance proves it isn't a major concern. After missing a game earlier this month with a quadriceps injury, the Unibrow has scored 38 or points in three of four games since.
Nov. 22 6:05 PM PT7:05 PM MT8:05 PM CT9:05 PM ET2:05 GMT10:05 7:05 PM MST9:05 PM EST6:05 UAE (+1)03:0521:05 ET8:05 PM CTNaN: - Davis returned to begin the fourth quarter Tuesday after bruising his right knee and missing the second and third periods. X-rays were negative on Davis, who banged his leg against a chair while chasing the ball out of bounds. He lunged into the fourth row of chairs near the Atlanta bench and came up limping. Davis walked slowly off the floor and into the locker room, but seemed to move with ease when he came back in the fourth.
Analysis: Davis finished with 13 points in 18:31 of action after scoring 38 in each of the previous two games.

Analysis: Davis has been dealing with a minor back issue, but it clearly wasn't much of a problem on this night. Fourth in the NBA in scoring (30.5 ppg), the Pelicans' franchise player is averaging 31.2 points, 10.6 rebounds and 2.6 blocks over a stellar five-game stretch.
Nov. 12 4:38 PM PT5:38 PM MT6:38 PM CT7:38 PM ET0:38 GMT8:38 5:38 PM MST7:38 PM EST4:38 UAE (+1)01:3819:38 ET6:38 PM CTNaN: - Davis scored 34 points Saturday but left the game in the third quarter with apparent lower-back pain. He went to the locker room and sat out for four-plus minutes.
Analysis: The point total allowed Davis to become the ninth player in NBA history to score 300 points and grab 100 rebounds in the first 10 games. Davis also joined David Robinson and Shaquille O'Neal as the only players to average 30 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks in his first 10 games.
Nov. 10 7:07 PM PT8:07 PM MT9:07 PM CT10:07 PM ET3:07 GMT11:07 8:07 PM MST10:07 PM EST7:07 UAE (+1)04:0722:07 ET9:07 PM CTNaN: - Davis stepped up with 32 points, eight rebounds, two steals and four blocks in Thursday's win over the Bucks. He also hit all eight free throws.

Analysis: Davis continues to be a one-man wrecking crew on a bad New Orleans team. He's amassed 33 points or more in five of the first eight games, leads the league with 24 blocks and is averaging 11.4 rebounds. His owners have to be far less disappointed than Pelicans fans.
Nov. 8 7:57 AM PT8:57 AM MT9:57 AM CT10:57 AM ET15:57 GMT23:57 8:57 AM MST10:57 AM EST19:57 UAE16:5710:57 ET9:57 AM CTNaN: - Davis was dominant against the Warriors once again Monday, but the Pelicans also lost again as he had 33 points on 11-of-18 shooting to go with 13 rebounds.
Analysis: Davis had 45 points and 17 rebounds against Golden State 10 days earlier. He's tied for the league lead with five double-doubles. New Orleans opened a three-game road trip Monday, and his performance was somewhat reassuring considering he had averaged just 14.0 points and 6.0 boards in the team's first two road games.
Nov. 4 7:14 PM PT8:14 PM MT9:14 PM CT10:14 PM ET2:14 GMT10:14 7:14 PM MST9:14 PM EST6:14 UAE (+1)03:1422:14 ET8:14 PM CTNaN: - Davis finished with 22 points and 11 rebounds on Friday, but couldn't keep the Pelicans from falling to 0-6 against the Suns.

Nov. 1 8:02 PM PT9:02 PM MT10:02 PM CT11:02 PM ET3:02 GMT11:02 8:02 PM MST10:02 PM EST7:02 UAE (+1)04:0223:02 ET9:02 PM CTNaN: - Davis had a game-high 35 points, including 17 of 18 from the foul line, and grabbed 15 rebounds in Tuesday's loss to the Bucks.
Analysis: Davis' 35 points was actually his third-best scoring performance of the season behind 50- and 45-point outings.
Oct. 29 9:08 PM PT10:08 PM MT11:08 PM CT12:08 AM ET4:08 GMT12:08 9:08 PM MST11:08 PM EST8:08 UAE06:080:08 ET11:08 PM CTNaN: - Davis poured in 45 points and grabbed 17 rebounds in Friday's 122-114 loss to the Warriors.
Analysis: That's 95 points through two games for Davis, an NBA record. It's anyone's guess how long Davis can continue to carry a workload like this given his injury history, but he's certainly capable of doing more than most when he's healthy.
Oct. 29 6:19 PM PT7:19 PM MT8:19 PM CT9:19 PM ET1:19 GMT9:19 6:19 PM MST8:19 PM EST5:19 UAE (+1)03:1921:19 ET8:19 PM CTNaN: - Davis cooled off Saturday night, finishing with just 18 points and five rebounds in a 98-79 loss to San Antonio.

He finished with 50 points, 16 rebounds, seven steals, five assists and four blocks in a loss to Denver.
Analysis: According to our records (dating back to 1985-86), no player has had that many points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks in the same game. As long as he's healthy, Davis will be a beast in fantasy leagues.
Oct. 12 5:03 AM PT6:03 AM MT7:03 AM CT8:03 AM ET12:03 GMT20:03 5:03 AM MST7:03 AM EST16:03 UAE14:038:03 ET7:03 AM CT11:03 - Davis returned sooner than expected from a sprained right ankle and had 33 points, 13 rebounds and four assists in the Pelicans' last preseason game Thursday night.
Analysis: Davis was hurt Oct. 12 during a preseason game against Houston in China and the Pelicans said he was expected back in 10 days to two weeks, a timeline that could have meant missing the regular-season opener next Wednesday. But Davis made it back in about a week as he returned to practice Wednesday.
