The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the contract has yet to be signed.
Analysis: The acquisition of Teletovic is the latest in a series of moves by the Suns to try to bolster their outside shooting. The 6-foot-9 power forward shot 39 percent from 3-point range for Brooklyn in 2013-14. It dropped to 32 percent last season, which was cut short by blood clots in his lungs.

Analysis: Teletovic was hospitalized in Los Angeles after experiencing shortness of breath during a Jan. 22 game against the Clippers. He was diagnosed with pulmonary embolus, which has also sidelined Miami Heat All-Star Chris Bosh for the remainder of the season. Teletovic said doctors are fairly certain his problems can be traced to a hip pointer he sustained against Cleveland in December, and the clots traveled to his calf and then his lungs.
